A step of linearity

A great blue heron during the morning of the breeding season at the Wakodahatchee Wetlands carefully stalks its prey, walking as soft as it is possible to prevent creating disturbances. One step after another until suddenly it just stops, looks with attention to the water, quickly goes in and catches the prey. Perfect planning, and cautious and decisive performance leading to this moment.
